Super 10s is continuing to grow both in Queensland and Nationally in 2014 and is a main focal point for Tennis Australia and its Project Talent Team.

Two series were conducted in February; the first in Brisbane at the University of Queensland, and the second, in a regional first, at Townsville Tennis Centre.

The University of Queensland hosted the first Metropolitan Super 10s series for 2014. A total of 32 athletes competed in over 100 hours of timed match play. After a hard fought semi final, Team Tomic defeated Team Rafa in the boys final and Team Azarenka defeated Team Sharapova in the girls final.

In another first since its introduction in 2012; Super 10s travelled to North Queensland; with a series held at Townsville Tennis Centre.  This series was slightly modified, with 40 athletes divided into two pools of five mixed teams. After the completion of round robin matches, team Djokovic defeated Team Williams in a very close final.

Tennis Australia acknowledges positive behaviours on court and off court during these series through individual awards distributed at the end of each round. Parent presentations are also provided which ensures these positive behaviours are be reinforced at home.
