The Imbil Tennis club recently held its inaugural “Imbildon Tennis Challenge.” Nearly 50 players participated in the initial event in the Mary Valley.

Current President of Tennis Queensland Ken Laffey and wife Barbara were recognized as honorary guest  and on hand for the event.  

The players participated in a round robin format and played multiple sets of mixed doubles.  Players were provided morning tea, lunch, and heaps of prizes were raffled off.

The “Imbildon Tennis Challenge” was a fantastic day and received well by all, so much that next year’s event date has already been set for Sunday 12 July 2015.
