Record numbers were on hand at the Rod Laver Lead In & Rod Laver QLD Junior Championships presented by Tennis & Gear Online. Over the July school holidays, more than 1100 players flocked to Brisbane for what was a magnificent week-and-a-half of tennis played in spectacular conditions. The events were well supported by players across all states and territories of Australia as well as a collection of more than 10 countries including strong New Zealand and Hong Kong contingents.

Over 2800 matches were played across 6 venues in Brisbane with the finals of the Rod Laver QLD Junior Championships culminating at the iconic Queensland Tennis Centre. Supporting partner Tennis & Gear Online’s Director Mark Bloomfield was ecstatic at how well the events have grown over the last couple of years and is looking forward to the continued growth of both events in 2015.
