The annual Brisbane Billy Cart Championships held at Caringdale Nature Reserve was a great day out for Terry the Tennis Ball and Tennis in Queensland.

Community Tennis Officers Mick & Leanne had a fantastic day enticing the majority of the Billy Cart contestants into participating in some ANZ Tennis Hot Shots.

The Tennis component of the day saw two natural grass Hot Shots courts that attracted children and parents of all ages to come and have a go at playing some modified Tennis.

The Fastest Serve Machine was also a big hit and many of the Billy Carters came and had a go, a laugh and won some prizes for their troubles. Much to the delight of kids and fans, Terry the Tennis Ball also made an appearance and even attempted a race in a Billy Cart along with several other mascots.

Some interested parents followed up for more information on the ANZ Hot Shots program and were keen to follow through and sign up with a deliverer that was close to them which was a great result for our sport.
