Queensland State Qualifying event entries for your chance to play at the December Showdown close this Saturday 18 October 2014.

After a stellar year on the Australian Ranking Junior Tour 25 Queensland athletes have been directly accepted and invited participate in the 2014 December Showdown – 12/u & 14/U events.

There are still four QLD State Qualifier places up for grabs in the 12/u & 14/u Boys and Girls Australian Championships. Each draw will be a maximum of 64 players, competing up to the semi-final round, with these four players each being awarded a qualifying place at the relevant event at the December Showdown in Melbourne.

The Queensland State Qualifying event will take place from 1-2 Novmeber at the Queensland Tennis Centre. Entry is $25.

• this is a closed state qualifying event – only for athletes who live in Queensland
• the final acceptance list will be based on the 64 highest ranked Queensland players who enter
• there will be no AR points awarded, and no doubles or consolation events.
