Kawana, QLD- On Sunday afternoon the 2nd of November, Kawana Tennis Club hosted the 2015 Brisbane International Schools Challenge Sunshine Coast Regional. Nearly 100 kids as part of 21 teams representing 8 schools across the Sunshine Coast participated in the challenge.
The winning orange ball team and the top 2 teams in the green ball event will represent the Sunshine Coast at the State Finals in Brisbane at the Brisbane International in January.
In the Orange Ball Challenge, St. Andrews Anglican College ORANGE narrowly edged out the Sunshine Coast Grammar School Cubs RED in the Round Robin Format. Representing the St. Andrews team were players; Toby Everard, Zara Larke, Larissa Tylim and Marcella Donger.
The same two schools had teams reach the green ball final where St. Andrews Anglican College BLUE defeated the Sunshine Coast Grammar School Lions RED. Players on the BLUE team from St. Andrews were; Zak Larke, Billy Bougoure, Jordan Larke, Hamish Everard.
