World number eight in the world Milos Raonic (CAN) took some time last night to meet and present the 2014 Queensland Champions with their medals on Pat Rafter Arena.
The twenty-six players were recognised for their fantastic results competiting both here and overseas last year.
2014 Queensland Champions:
Mike Ford: captain of the Australian 55+ World Team Championship winning team in Florida
Jan Johns: represented Australia at the World 65+ Championships in Turkey
Lee Taylor: Chosen as captain for the Australian 70+ team which played world team championship in Turkey.
Terry McLellan: represented Australia at the World 70+ championships in Turkey
Neville Langford: represented Australia at the World 80+ Championships in Turkey
Mitchell Harper: won the 18/U Australian Doubles Championship for a second consecutive year
Patrick Harper: member of the Queensland team that won the Australian Team Championships
Dane Sweeney: member of the Queensland team that won the Australian Team Championships
Jayden Court: member of the Queensland team that won the Australian Team Championships
Hana Kim: member of the Queensland team that won the Australian Team Championships
Jack Jaede: won the 18/U Australian Doubles Championship for a second consecutive year
Blake Ellis: won the 16/U National title in Sydney
Philip Sekulic: runner up in the 12/U Australian Championships
Aleksa Cveticanin: ITF finalist in Sydney
Olivia Gadecki: represented Australia at the Longines Young Stars event in Paris
Kimberley Birrell: Australian Open Junior semi-finalist and represented Australia at the Junior Fed Cup
Priscilla Hon: represented Australia at the Youth Olympics in Nanjing
Naiktha Bains: represented Australia at the Youth Olympics in Nanjing
Alexander Crnokrak: runner up in the 14/U Australian Championships
