Kids from PCYC’s Indigenous Program had the trip of a life time today, hitting against Taro Daniel (JPN) and then showcasing their skills to the crowd in Pat Rafter Arena at the Brisbane International.
The group travelled from Bundaberg and Toowoomba with Indigenous Community Sport and Recreation Officer Dusty Wilson to participate in Kids on Court at the tournament.
For many of the kids, this was their first experience of playing tennis – not to mention in front of the crowds on Show Court One and Pat Rafter Arena.
ANZ Tennis Hot Shots is a game just for kids. With smaller courts, lighter racquets and low-compression balls that don’t bounce too high, it makes learning fun and easy for kids.
