The Palmwoods Tennis Club Recently hosted an open day to attract new tennis players from the Palmwoods Community.  The major highlight of the day included the celebratory opening of the 2 new grass courts, 2 hot shots courts and the new hit up wall.

On the day, people had the opportunity to try out the new facilities as well as were treated to many sweets, a sausage sizzle and a prize raffle.  The Speed Serve was a huge success with some persons in attendance reaching nearly 160km on their serve.   Local dignitaries  were on hand for the day along with current members of the club as well as a few life members.
