The 2015 Brisbane Tennis League will draw to a close this Sunday 15 November at the Queensland Tennis Centre.
This year will see two new finalists with the UQ Saints to take on the might of the BGS Bulldogs in the final at 10.30am for the $6,000 prize purse.
The UQ Saints will be led by a number of strong player’s with depth in all four positions. The one to watch however will be the youthful Josh Barrenechea. The twenty-three year is known to produce some sensational tennis when firing up.
The BGS Bulldogs have plenty of grit across the park with the likes of Thomas Fancutt, Isabella Franks and the veteran of FAST 4 tennis Daniel Dossetor. If it all comes down to the last mixed doubles rubber, the Bulldogs will not hesitate to dig deep with the likely pairing of Dossetor and Franks.
Vying for third place and $1,000 prize money are the Shaw Park Sharks and Churchie Vikings.
Meanwhile in the Brisbane Junior Tennis League final the surprise packets of the league, Morningside Magic will take on the might of Coops EnFuego’s. Emerson Aces will play off against the BGS Bulldogs after finishing their pool just one point shy of Morningside Magic.
Head along to the Queensland Tennis Centre this Sunday 15 November and see some the best tennis Brisbane has to offer. Matches start at 8am, with finals on court at 10.30am. A BBQ, and refreshments will be available on the day.
