Aussie girls continue winning ways
Australia has secured its place in the knockout stage of the World Junior Tennis Asia/Oceania final qualifying event after defeating Indonesia on Tuesday in Thailand.

Australia’s World Junior Tennis girls’ team continues to perform strongly at the Asia/Oceania final qualifying competition in Nonthaburi, Thailand.
The girls beat Indonesia 2-1 in their second pool match to move into second place in Group C behind China.
Australia faces China in the final round-robin match on Wednesday.
Yet already with two victories, the Australian team – comprising Olivia Gadecki, Natasha Russell and Annerly Poulos – has already cemented its place in the eight-nation elimination stage.
The top four nations advance to the August’s World Finals.
Against Indonesia, Gadecki levelled the tie at 1-1 after Poulos lost her singles rubber in three sets. In the live doubles rubber, Gadecki partnered Russell to beat the Indonesian pairing 6-0 6-3.
