The Winter Wonderland series of Australian Ranking events is just around the corner. The winter wonderland series provides plenty of opportunities for players and spectators to catch quality tennis in Brisbane.
Kicking the series off is the state’s pinnacle Open event, the Queensland Open (25-29 June). Around 180 entrants will compete in the Platinum Australian Money Tournament (AMT), PWID and Wheelchair events with over $15,000 prize money up for the taking. The finals will be held on Wednesday 29 June at the Queensland Tennis Centre. Spectators are welcome, with a free BBQ from 9am on Sunday 27 June.
Record breaking numbers are again predicted for the Rod Laver Lead In and Rod Laver Queensland Junior Championships presented by Tennis & Gear Online, with an expected 1,200 entries including more than 150 international athletes set to compete. Spectators are welcome to attend. The finals and the free Defrost BBQ will be at the Queensland Tennis Centre from 10am Sunday 10 July.
