Former Chief Executive Officer for Tennis Tasmania and Tournament Director of the Hobart International Mark Handley is set to take on the role of Tennis Queensland Head of Participation in 2017.
Mr Handley’s 20 years of professional experience in tennis began in Queensland as a coach and tournament director on the Sunshine Coast. Since then, Mr Handley has collected a wealth of knowledge and experience from across Australia in various roles within Tennis Australia and Member Associations, including, Pro Circuit Coordinator, Tournaments Manager, Board Director and his most recent time as CEO in Tennis Tasmania.
As Head of Participation, Mr Handley will be instrumental to the next stage of growth for grassroots tennis in Queensland. He will focus on the needs of local clubs, schools and government stakeholders to build strong, sustainable tennis leagues, tournaments and communities across the state.
Mr Handley is excited by the opportunity ahead,
