Australia defends INAS World Tennis Championships

Australia has won 9 medals (3 gold, 4 silver, 2 bronze) at the 2017 INAS World Tennis Championships validating the team’s top spot after taking out the last 3 consecutive titles.
Australian tennis players led by Head Intellectual Disability (ID) Coach, Alison Scott travelled to Bolton, England to compete at the tournament which hosted competition between 9-14 April for Men and Women across singles, doubles and mixed doubles events.
Australia’s national intellectual disability team included, Archie Graham (Newtown, Qld) Kelly Wren (Engadine, NSW) Mitchell James (Burpengary, Qld), Joshua Holloway (Rockhampton, Qld), Damian Phillips (Coffs Harbour, NSW) and Carla Lenarduzzi (Camberwell, Vic).
Team Manager Jay Schuback commended the event.
