Gambling Community Benefit Fund
Not-for-profit groups operating in Queensland can apply for grants from $500 to $35,000 through the Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF). This fund is Queensland’s largest one-off grants program, distributing approximately $53 million per year to Queensland communities. Round 96 is now open and will close at 11.59pm on 28 February 2018. Visit here.

Sporting Schools funding applications open soon!

Is your club linked with a local school? Term 2 Sporting Schools funding applications open 5 March and close 23 March. Schools can apply for funding through the Sporting Schools website. For further information please contact [email protected]

Young Athletes Travel Subsidy
The Young Athletes Travel Subsidy assists athletes and officials under 18 years of age with travel and accommodation costs associated with competing at nominated state, national and international sporting competitions. Successful applicants may receive up to $200 for state, $400 for national and $600 for international events.  Visit here.

Local Sporting Champions
The Local Sporting Champions program is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for young people aged 12 to 18 towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state, national or international sporting championships or a School Sport Australia state or national championship. Aspirations4Kids (A4K)
Aspirations4Kids (A4K) make funding grants available to Queensland school students between the ages of 10-19 years who play or wish to play inter-school sports but due to unique challenges may find it difficult to do so. Visit here.

Fundraising4Sport (F4S)
The Australian Sports Foundation operates the Fundraising4Sport program which allows fundraising for clubs, community fundraising, and athlete fundraising via an online platform. The Foundation has unique Deductible Gift Recipient status, so partnering means that all donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. Visit here.

Women’s Adventure Grant – Travel Play Live
Applications are welcome from Australian women of all ages and backgrounds who are planning an expedition or adventurous project and can demonstrate how they will endeavour to use the grant funds, in an innovative, creative and adventurous way to showcase the power of adventure to affect change.
$20,000 + gear is up for grabs for four Australian Women who display a creative and innovative approach towards adventure. Visit here.

Home Ground Advantage – Holden
The Holden Home Ground Advantage project helps grassroots sport by giving local clubs the chance to upgrade, construct or improve their facilities, upgrade or purchase equipment or develop exceptional talent. The average value awarded so far is $12,500. Visit here.

Queensland Seniors Week 2018 – Subsidies
Queensland Seniors Week 18-26 August 2018, provides the opportunity for older Queenslanders to explore programs and services, events and activities, connect with people of all ages and backgrounds, to celebrate the many contributions people make in their communities.

Subsidy applications are available for eligible not-for-profit, charitable and community organisations, schools, local government, and libraries to apply for up to $1,000 to support events hosted during Queensland Seniors Week. Events may include come and try activities, workshops, or demonstrations for example. Visit here.
