Ajla Tomljanovic’s career-best season has continued, with the 25-year-old reaching a best-ever ranking of No.44 this week.

Tomljanovic’s rise comes after she progressed to the final of the WTA event in Seoul last week, her second final of the year.

The result pushed her beyond her previous best ranking of 47th, set in February 2015.

Since then, the Australian endured a rough ride with her physical health; a shoulder injury requiring surgery sidelined her for a year from 2016 to 2017 and saw become unranked briefly in early 2017.
