What is the Junior Development Series?
The Junior Development Series (JDS) is a group of tournaments for beginners to intermediate players. These tournaments are conducted around Australia.
Who are these tournaments for?
The JDS is designed to give players their first experience in playing a series of tournaments throughout the year.
Can I get ranking points at these tournaments?
No. The JDS does not offer Australian Ranking Points, it maintains a development focus.
The road to Rockhampton…
JDS State Finals are battled out in Rockhampton, in total, 16 players (eight boys and eight girls) will be chosen to represent each QLD region in October.
It is important to familiarise yourself with your region’s selection criteria to ensure you are eligible for team selection.
