Queensland Junior Teams Carnival is an annual event hosted by Tennis Queensland, and in 2022 it has been moved to launch the playing calendar on January 11 – 15.

The new dates in January are being used to educate players, parents, and coaches on the new ratings based calendar that will kick off in 2022 – with many exciting changes underway to improve the playing experience for everyone.

QLD Junior Teams Carnival is the perfect balance between Team & Individual competition. Team ties consist of singles, doubles, and mixed doubles with each team having 3 girls & 3 boys all participating in an equal amount of matches throughout the week. The team’s event will be followed by an individual event in the afternoon at each age groups respective venues. Results from the individual event will attribute to your final team standing.

The ultimate award for the duration of the week for good sportsmanship and team support will be acknowledged through fellow player’s nominations. Remember unless it’s positive it’s pointless!
