Our Goal:

Tennis Queensland’s goal is to support 4-6 regional/rural/remote venues and strengthen the coaching reach by supporting existing operators who want to increase their participation numbers. This initiative will work directly with local coach-venue operators to support the growth of their businesses by providing tailored business assistance, offering digital transformation, and supporting the delivery of school programs.

How It Works:

Through targeted recruitment and professional development, we’ll empower coaches to:

• Build thriving coaching businesses.
• Strengthen connections within their communities.
• Create opportunities for players at their home venues and beyond.

Key Outcomes:

• Business Growth Support: Provide tailored assistance to existing regional coaching operators.
• School and Club Engagement: Deliver coaching programs to regional school networks and affiliated club venues, with seed funding tied to Open Day launch events.
• Digital Transformation: Enhance the digital capabilities of regional coaches and clubs to drive growth and engagement.

Eligibility Criteria:

To participate in this initiative, venues must meet the following requirements:

• Be a Tennis Queensland-affiliated venue in a regional location.
• The venue must have a minimum of four courts.
• Have no current coach operator, or an operator who has been at the venue for less than 18 months.
• Submit an Expression of Interest, either as a venue operator or coach.
