IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR PLAYERS, PARENTS, COACHES & CLUBS – RE: CQ JDS Circuit Finals 8th & 9th October Venue Change from Gladstone to NOW Rockhampton!!

The CQ Junior Development Series (JDS) Circuit Coordinator would like to announce a very important update that the upcoming CQ JDS Circuit Finals to be held on the 8th & 9th October will no longer be held in Gladstone with a change of venue to be now Rockhampton.

The venue change has occurred due to the CQ JDS Circuit Coordinator no longer being available to be the Tournament Director for the tournament and during the recently held Central Regional Assembly Meeting it was voted upon by the Regions Delegates to change the venue from Gladstone to the Rockhampton Regional Tennis Centre.

The Central Regional Assembly would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, as the committee is quite aware that the CQ Circuit Finals has been on the circuit calendar since the beginning of the year and a sudden change of venue could cause some inconvenience, but the region wanted to announce the change as early as possible.

Just a reminder, for players to be eligible to compete in the CQ Circuit Finals on the 8th & 9th October now in Rockhampton at the Rockhampton Regional Tennis Centre, players must have played in a minimum of four circuit tournaments (“Category B – ITN” Events are counted). Players can nominate for the CQ JDS Circuit Finals by sending their entry to Glenn Vickery via email [email protected] or phoning 0407 693 900.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could please share this venue change with everyone in your tennis network and most importantly inform all players and parents of the venue change as early as possible.
