Tennis Queensland are reaching out to Tennis Australia qualified coaches who are interested in the opportunity to gain experience and provide opportunities in the inclusions space. The organisation ‘Life Stream Australia’ have reached out and expressed great interest in getting tennis programs started in their schools. Becoming involved in a program like this will create lasting relationships with schools which could ultimately lead to continuous programs in the future.
About Lifestream Australia:
“At Life Stream Australia we provide options and opportunities for people with a disability to lead engaged, active and healthy lifestyles in their communities.
One of our core programs is in the Sport and Recreation area where we work with State Sporting Organisations to assist them to develop and deliver Inclusive Sport programs. This encourages students of all abilities to have an opportunity to participate in sport, in the past we have had Tennis QLD and club coaches assist and run Tennis at our Multi Sports Expo’s as well as in school sport programs. We also look to support tennis where ever is needed, whether it be distributing any flyers or information on upcoming events to our database of schools and members or support existing programs” (Lifestream Australia).
