The South Region had a successful year with the JDS Series in 2019 with participants playing for a spot in the State Finals Team. The State Finals was held in Rockhampton over the weekend of 19th & 20th of October. 16 participants were selected from the South Region and 3 were given Wild Card entries in the West Region Team. Dean Stansell was chosen by the Regional Assembly as the coach and the team had a fantastic weekend in Rockhampton.

The South Region won a total of 26 matches with Jaeden Ruhle putting up an outstanding performance finishing 3rd in the 17/U Boys. Special Shout out the following kids for a great effort:
