From club facility upgrades, to equipment subsidies, there are a number of grants available to our affiliated clubs.

Hot Shots Tennis Community Play is a program designed for affiliated tennis venues where a qualified tennis coach is not available. The program has been designed to be delivered by club volunteers and aims to provide an engaging first tennis experience in a fun, friendly and welcoming environment for children of all ages and abilities.

Sporting Schools is an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase children's participation in sport and connect them with community sport opportunities.

Cardio Tennis is the energised way to learn and play tennis for people of all ages and abilities. It provides an easy entry point for people wanting to learn tennis skills and improve their fitness.

Open Court Sessions is for players who don't take themselves too seriously.

Your Competitive Player Profile is the unique profile generated by connecting your Tennis ID and UTR Rating. With this connection established, your playing history and upcoming match data can be stored securely in one place, giving you full visibility of your tennis stats and performance. Whether you play for fun at your local club, or professionally on the global circuit, your Competitive Player Profile will ensure you receive the best playing experience for your level.

The Tennis SA Board is made up of ten members who oversee the operation of Tennis SA Staff and Committees. All members of the Tennis SA board come from different backgrounds to help make any decisions fair and beneficial to the tennis community in South Australia.

The State Foundation Cup is the culmination of each of the six regional areas selecting boys and girls teams in the 10/u, 12/u, 14/u and 16/u age groups. The State Foundation Cup provides a platform for the best regional junior players to compete in teams and individual events across four days.

The Country Carnival is a grassroots team tennis participation event that has a long and very proud history in South Australia. It is an opportunity for players to represent their Association and participate in a competitive yet fun and enjoyable environment.

Whether it’s the new initiatives they put in place, the extra hands on deck to ensure everything runs smoothly, offering a new program for the local community or keeping the socials up to date – we understand these duties are vital for clubs success.

A UTR Rating is a number that provides a real and accurate measurement of skill level. A player’s UTR Rating is a number between 1.00 and 16.50. One match result is all it takes to receive a projected UTR Rating. After approximately five matches, the rating becomes fully reliable. As matches are played and entered into the system, a player’s UTR Rating will increase or decrease over time to reflect their current skill level.
