Over 25 participants took part in Lyndoch Tennis Club’s MLC Tennis Hot Shots Challenge event held on Sunday 10 April 2011 with South Australia’s Barossa Valley.
Jack Schipanski, Adelaide’s National Academy Athlete joined the celebrations and even jumped on court to hit with the MLC Tennis Hot Shots children.
Anne-Marie Handke, Senior Community Tennis Officer said “It was great to have the northern tennis community, Lyndoch, Tanunda & Gawler Tennis clubs all unite at the end of the summer season and celebrate a great season together. “
All children took home a signed group photo which was taken at the start of the day with Jack – plus, three lucky raffle winners took home a free modified racquet. With a BBQ, chocolate cake, face painting and giveaways it was a great finish to the weekend!
