Lock Up Your Mothers, Leo Sayers’ Coming Back to Town on 8th October 2011.

13th Australian Masters Games participants will be ‘dancing the night away’ at Memorial Drive when the Grammy Award winner and resurgent 70’s icon Leo Sayer headlines the Opening Ceremony on Saturday October 8th

The home of tennis will host the official City of Adelaide Games Village – the exclusive hub of the Games that will feature the opening and closing ceremonies, nightly entertainment, accreditation centre, event expo and merchandise sales.

Games Project Manager Ian Fitzpatrick is excited about the performance. “Having an international star performing at the Opening Ceremony will be a fantastic way to kick off the Games. Leo Sayer is a true entertainer and has been playing to sell out crowds for decades. Games participants are in for a fantastic night,” he says.

The only way to gain entry to the City of Adelaide Games Village is to be an accredited games participant, and with registrations closing in one week’s time on Sunday August 7th, all those interested are encouraged to get online and register now
