10 August 2011 | Tennis SA

Over 65 tennis clubs have already signed up to open their doors to the general public throughout 2011 Tennis Month (20 August – 25 September) as part of the Tennis SA’s ‘Come and Try Day’ initiative.

The ‘Come and Try’ day concept was introduced by Tennis SA to welcome members of the public to their local tennis club.  Players of all ages and abilities, from junior hot shots to social warriors and seasoned campaigners, are invited to visit tennis.com.au/sa and locate their local participating ‘Come and Try Day’ venue.

Alistair MacDonald, Tennis SA CEO says “Tennis continues to be recognised as the sport that Australian’s are most interested in, demonstrating how accessible the sport is in South Australia.

The ‘Come and Try’ day is a great opportunity for people to get active and transform their interest in the game of tennis into action on the court at their local tennis club”.
