The Australian Open Trophies will visit Adelaide on Thursday 20 October 2011 to launch the pilot program for the new National Tennis League.
The National Tennis League 2011 is an innovative competition featuring six men’s and six women’s teams from South Australia who will compete for a share of $50,000 prize money and the chance to compete against Victoria and Western Australia at Melbourne Park during the Australian Open (16-29 January 2011).
The confirmed player list includes Wimbledon Junior Champion Luke Saville and Australian Open play-off winner international Colin Ebelthite.

Following the South Australian visit the trophies will head to Launceston and Devonport in Tasmania Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Alice Springs, Perth, Canberra, Bowral, Sydney and the Victorian Surf Coast before finishing their journey at Melbourne Park on Monday 16 January for day one of Australian Open 2012.
