Congratulations to Alistair MacDonald (CEO, Tennis SA) who has been named winner of 2011 Sport SA Award – Administer of the Year at the “The KPMG Celebration of South Australian Sport” held on November 18th 2011 in partnership with The Advertiser and Channel Seven.
Alistair was nominated by Tennis SA staff and board for the award due to his contribution to sport in South Australia.
Alistair is responsible for Tennis SA’s overall strategy development and implementation. He is a Co-founder and Director of the World Tennis Challenge and is an accomplished player himself having received a tennis scholarship at the University of Texas. Alistair holds a Doctorate of Psychology (Organisational) as well as a business degree and worked with international clients for management consulting business PKF before taking up his current role at Tennis SA.
Tennis legend Adrian Quist was also recognised on the evening, inducteed into the Sport SA Hall of Fame.
