We welcome Brett McLennan who has joined the Tennis Australia Coach Development team on 21 November 2011 as Coach & Talent Development Manager – SA, reporting to Manager Coach Development, Geoff Quinlan.
Brett will be responsible for the management, implementation and delivery of the Tennis Australia (TA) Coach Development and Project Talent strategic priorities and objectives including the delivery of Project Talent programs including Capture, Coaches, Competition and Camps as well as managing the execution of Tennis Australia Coaching Courses, Professional Development Workshops, Mentoring programs and Coach Membership. Brett will be based in the Adelaide office.
Originally from Ballarat (Victoria) Brett studied Business Management (Marketing) at University of Ballarat. He has 16 years experience in coaching and sport administering and has spent the past 9 years based in the UK working as a High Performance Coach at the International High Performance Centre in Loughborough, and also the Nottingham Tennis Academy. Most recently he was the Performance Programme Manager at an LTA Satellite centre in Northampton.
