The highly anticipated Tennis SA Legends Club Luncheon featuring guest speakers John McEnroe, Patrick Rafter and Brad Gilbert has sold out in what is earmarked to be Australia’s leading tennis luncheon held at the InterContinental on Thursday 12 January 2012.
The attendance list includes a who’s who of tennis, including Tommy Haas, Alexandr Dolgopolov, Henri Leconte, Michael Llodra, Stanislas Wawrinka, Mansour Bahrami, Darren Cahill, Mark Woodforde, Roger Rasheed, Adrian Quist Jnr and Don Candy.

Proceeds from the luncheon will support the Ken McGregor Foundation established in 2009 in honor of South Australian tennis legend Ken McGregor. The foundation financially supports the development of the next generation of South Australian tennis champions and provides additional tennis opportunities for athletes with a disability.
The 2011 Tennis SA augural honorary members included Ken McGregor, John Fitzgerald, Lleyton Hewitt, Darren Cahill, Don Candy, Peter Carter, Brod Dyke, John James, Jordan Kerr, Ken McGregor, Alicia Molik, Todd Perry, Barry Phillips-Moore, Adrian Quist, Roger Rasheed, Gordon Schwartz, Len Schwartz, Peter Smith, Ronald V. Thomas, Don Turnbull and Mark Woodforde. 2012 inductees will be announced at the luncheon.
Guests of note include, His Excellency Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce AS CSC RANR, Hon. Tom Kenyon MP, Hon. Isobel Redmond MP, Hon. Terry Stephens MLC, His Worship the Mayor of Unley Lachlan Clyne and Hon. Michael Wright MP.

World Tennis Challenge 2012, presented by Events South Australia, will take place at the Memorial Drive, Adelaide from 10 to 12 January 2012.
