The South Australian Foundation Cup teams have arrived back from Sydney with very solid performances from both our boys and girls teams. Both teams representing regional South Australia in the 13/U age group finished fourth out of the six states competing in both the boys and girls competition.
A very special mention must go to Daniel Hobart from Port Pirie for going through the week undefeated at number one in the boys team and taking out the John Fitzgerald Medal as the MVP for the boys event and winning the $1000 prize.
James Pick and Leanne Riches our Foundation Cup coaches were very impressed with the week of tennis and the level of determination shown by our regional tyros.
