Is your club ready to play?

MLC Tennis Hot Shots Community Play is an exciting new program for Clubs.

The MLC Tennis Hot Shots Community Play program is conducted in clubs and centres across the nation by tennis coaches and club volunteers. At the heart of Community Play is the opportunity for all children to play tennis in a fun, supportive environment.

What is Community Play?

Community Play is all about enjoying tennis with friends and being a good sport. Parents (or guardians) are empowered to assist on court with scoring and reinforcing the “Be a good sport” messages.

Community Play provides:

  • an opportunity for players at clubs who do not have a coach to participate in MLCTHS
  • players who are currently in an MLCTHS coaching program with an additional opportunity to play
  • a link for players who have participated in the MLCTHS schools program to try tennis in the club environment
  • a link for players who are not having MLCTHS coaching to start coaching to improve their skills
  • a stepping stone for players between MLCTHS coaching and Association competitions and local tournaments.

How will my club benefit?

There are a raft of benefits for clubs that run the Community Play program, including:

  • You will receive an MLCTHS equipment pack valued at $1050 (RRP) delivered in a handy branded roller bag. The pack contains:
