National Academy Adelaide athlete, Chloe Hule completed an amazing two weeks of tennis in Gosford NSW’s when she won both International tournaments in singles and doubles over the October School Holidays.

Chloe won 10 singles matches for the two weeks and then combined with her younger sister Petra Hule to win both doubles titles winning eight matches for the two weeks.

Chloe has had a consistent year in Australian ITF’s making a singles semi final in Melbourne in April, then a singles Final in the Sunshine Coast in July.  Chloe is now ranked 224 in the world and will by the start of 2014 be ranked under 200.

National Academy Manager, Rohan Fisher said “Chloe has placed herself in a great position now to be considered for a Main Draw Wild Card into the Australian Open Juniors for 2014”.

“Playing in the Australian Open in 2014 was a goal set at the start of the year and Chloe’s consistent improvement throughout the year has really made this a realistic proposition.”

“The other pleasing aspect in Gosford from Fisher’s perspective was the performances of a number of the South Australian girls. We had 5 SA girls in the last eight of the NSW’s ITF – Chloe Hule, Petra Hule, Nicole Kraemer, Olivia Ley and Jeanette Lin”

“All these 5 girls now have career high junior ITF rankings as a result of their performances in Gosford” continues Rohan

National Academy Athlete Petra Hule has highlighted her doubles prowess by winning 15 straight matches in doubles. Petra combined with fellow National Academy Adelaide athlete to win the 14s National Doubles Title at Homebush in Sydney and the as mentioned above won both ITF doubles titles in Gosford.

South Australian tennis has had an incredible run with doubles titles this year across all levels. Thanasi Kokkinakis and Brad Mousley have both won Junior Grand Slam titles this year with Thanasi combining with Nick Kyrigos to win Junior Wimbledon and Brad combining with Jay Andrijic to win the Australian Open Junior Doubles title. Eight SA juniors  (Lliam Bishop, Oliver Douglas, Nicole Kraemer, Petra Hule, Jeanette Lin, Stefan Norodom, Isabella Ryles and Sean Van Rensburg) have been involved in the winning of National Junior Doubles titles during the past 9 months.

The culmination of the year will occur at the December Showdown in Melbourne for Chloe Hule where she will compete in both the 16s & 18s Nationals. This is an amazing event Fisher stated and it is a great lead up before the world of Tennis embarks on Melbourne for the Australian Open in January.
