The AO Blitz will arrive in Murray Bridge on Friday 22 November in search of the nation’s fastest serve.

If you have what it takes to hit the fastest serve, come along to win an opportunity to clock your speed on Rod Laver Arena during Australian Open 2014.

The AO Blitz is the largest participation drive in Australian tennis history, and offers both experienced players and those who have never picked up a racquet the chance to win major prizes and have an Australian Open 2014 player represent their local town.

The AO Blitz is comprised of two parts – free community tennis days and an online interactive competition at www.aoblitz.com.au.

This Friday the AO Blitz will be visiting:

Lutheran Tennis Club, Christian Reserve, Recreation Avenue from 3:30pm – 7:00pm.

Locals will have the chance to participate in a range of tennis activities including:

  •  A schools MLC Tennis Hot Shots tournament will be taking place from 11am-2pm (entries have already closed)
  • MLC Tennis Hot Shots – modified tennis designed especially for children
  • Cardio Tennis – new tennis fitness workout
  • Speed serve
  • Exhibition match between Jess Moore (high world ranking of 132) and SA’s top ranked junior Chloe Hule – starting at 6pm.
  • Plus fun giveaways to take home

**At the Murray Bridge AO Blitz we will also be fundraising for our charity partners the National Breast Cancer Foundation and Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
