Eight first round singles matches, were played today at the 2014 City of Onkaparinga Tennis International.

There were many rain delays throughout play, resorting in the doubles being rescheduled for Thursday.

Number one seed Jamere Jenkins (USA)  was pushed to three sets defeating Maverick Banes (AUS) 2-6 6-4 6-4, Takuto Niki (JPN) defeated number 5 seed Brydan Klein (GBR) in a competive three sets 7-6 6-7 6-2 and Yasutaka Uchiyama (JPN) proved why he is seeded number 2 defeating Oliver Ceranic (AUS) 6-2 6-2.

Matches will start at 10am tomorrow, with main draw singles and doubles.
