Top seed Jamere Jenkins of the United States produced top form tennis in front of a big crowd at Happy Valley Tennis Club to defeat local Luke Saville in the final of the City of Onkaparinga Tennis International.
Jenkins defeated the young Aussie 6-2 6-3 to pick up his second ITF Futures title after winning his first on home soil in 2013.
Saville, who already owns two titles on the Australian Pro Tour, had reached the final after coming back from a set down to beat second seed Yasutaka Uchiyama of Japan 3-6 6-1 6-4 on Saturday.
Jenkins joined him in the title match with a 4-6 6-0 7-5 defeat of Australian Jordan Thompson, the tournament’s third seed.
