Day one of the main draw was completed yesterday in near perfect conditions at the 2015 Coopers Adelaide International. Seeded players Maverick Banes, Matthew Barton and Gavin Van Peperzeel won through in straight sets while in the match of the day Chris O’Connell overcame Luke Harvey in three tight sets to make his way through to the second round.
Tomorrow will see South Australian Darren Polkinghorne take on 2014 US Open Junior Champions Omar Jasika in what is expected to be a battle of speed and endurance between two of the shorter players in the draw. Also on the schedule for tomorrow is British number one seed Brydan Klein who takes on Aussie qualifier Alex Silcock and Australian No. 3 seed Matt Reid who is up against youngster Blake Mott in what is expected to be the match of the day.
