The only JDS tournament for this school holiday period will be the 2015 Tea Tree Gully April JDS. The tournament will be held on Sunday 26 April at Tea Tree Gully Tennis Club and is open to 9/u (Orange Ball), 11/u (Green Ball), 13/u and 15/u players. Entries will close this Sunday 19 April at 11.59pm.
Whilst the tournaments do not hold Australian Ranking points, they add a crucial step in the tournament pathway for children looking to be involved in tournament play. JDS tournaments have a strong focus on participation, with multiple playing opportunities for each child and the use of modified equipment.
11/U players will use 75% compression Hot Shots Green Balls, whilst 9/U players will use the 50% compression Hot Shots Orange Balls.
Players are encouraged to visit Tennis Australia Tournaments website http://tournaments.tennis.com.au/ for online entry.
