Congratulations to Rohan Fisher who last night was awarded City of Adelaide Sports Awards – Beyond Bank Coach or Official of the Year!
Rohan has been instrumental in developing and managing SA’s first National Academy at Tennis SA over the past 10 years.
During this period, he has been directly involved in helping SA produce 14 x Junior Singles National Champions, 24 x Junior Doubles National Champions, 3 x Junior Australian Open Grand Slam Championship Winners and one Junior Australian Open Grand Slam Championship Finalist (Thanasi Kokkinakis).
Rohan also coached the 2015 Junior Fed Cup team to a top four finish, Bojana Bobusic to win an Australian Open Wild Card playoff tournament and was recently appointed to Tennis Australia’s National Women’s Talent Development Manager. Fisher will work under the guidance of Head of Women’s Professional Tennis Nicole Pratt, to identify and develop the next generation of Australian female tennis players.
