Sunday 29 May saw East Torrens Kensington Gardens (ETKG) Tennis Club play host to Tennis SA’s 2016 ANZ Tennis Hot Shots Paris Slam.
The tournament attracted a 21 children playing over Red, Orange and Green Ball divisions. French flags were out, berets on and croissants eaten whilst 37 matches were completed in sunny conditions, with great fun had by all!
With its modified environments, ANZ Tennis Hot Shots lets kids find success at tennis from a young age. The size of the court and racquet along with the compression of the ball (which alters bounce and speed in flight) are all designed to ensure players at each stage of development achieve success.
