Sunday 26 June saw Henley South Tennis Club play host to Tennis SA’s 2016 ANZ Tennis Hot Shots London Slam.
The tournament attracted 31 children playing over Red, Orange and Green Ball divisions. The flags were out and players dressed in white just like the pros at Wimbledon, whilst 54 matches were completed in sunny conditions, with great fun had by all!
With its modified environments, ANZ Tennis Hot Shots lets kids find success at tennis from a young age. The size of the court and racquet along with the compression of the ball (which alters bounce and speed in flight) are all designed to ensure players at each stage of development achieve success.
