Last week Hon Julie Bishop, Matt Williams MP and Mellor Park President Rob Tregoweth visited the Lockleys Oval to announce that a re-elected Turnbull Government will deliver $3.25 million to fund a full redevelopment of this well loved community space.
Lockleys Oval is home to a number of clubs, including the Lockleys Football Club, West Torrens Baseball Club Juniors, West Torrens Baseball Club, West Beach Football Club, Goodwood Cricket Club, Lockleys Girl Guides, Lockleys Riding Club Inc, Homing Pigeon Club and the Mellor Park Tennis Club.
This news will also provide long term security for the members of the Mellor Park Tennis Club who have been working hard to develop a new home.
