Tennis SA is thrilled to welcome Jodie Oddy as the Official Ambassador for the Sets in the City Social Tennis night.
Jodie Oddy is a strong, independent, fun and feisty blonde.
Not surprisingly she holds her own against her Breakfast Radio co-presenter Mark ‘Soda’ Soderstrom on Mix 102.3.
Jodie was born in Canberra, raised in Tassie and graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Communications before working her way up the radio ranks. She was the community switchboard operator at SAFM and weekend sports reporter for Triple M Adelaide, before landing her gig at Mix102.3.
Jodie was also a news and sports presenter and weather reporter for Channel 10 Adelaide for six years.
The unapologetic sports freak represented the Tasmanian Youth Teams in Netball and Softball and today, the mother of three still finds time for a little ‘goal attack’ on and off the netball court as Coach of the Wildcats C2s and Ambassador of the Adelaide Thunderbirds.
Jodie is also an Ambassador of the McGrath Foundation and a strong supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Jodie is now married to Greg Oddy, who is Captain of the Australian Ice Hockey Team, and has three gorgeous daughters.
“As a sports nut from way back I am so thrilled to be an ambassador for this fantastic event. It combines my passions…Friday night drinks, tennis and meeting some fabulous ladies. Can’t wait!” Jodie said.
We can’t wait either, Jodie!
