Day 7 saw quarter-final round matches completed in blistering heat at the City of Onkaparinga Tennis Challenger 2017.

Victoria’s Omar Jasika is through to tomorrow’s semi-finals following an impressive 6-4 6-2 win over fourth seeded Peter Polansky (CAN). Meanwhile, [3] Denis Kudla (USA) became the last seed remaining, defeating [6] Darian King (BAR) 6-2 7-6(4), Peter Gojowczyk (GER) overcame Ruben Bemelmans (BEL) 7-6(6) 6-4 and Joris De Loore (BEL) defeated [8] Marton Fucsovics (HUN) 7-6(6) 6-3.

In the doubles, Steven De Waard (Qld) and Marc Polmans (Vic) have made their way through to Sunday’s doubles final, defeating King and Kudla 6-1 6-2.

Day 8 is singles semi-final day, with Gojowczyk and Kudla to open proceedings on Court 6 at 10.00 am. This match will be followed by Jasika and De Loore, not before 11.00 am.
