Congratulations Sam Von Einem of Glengowrie, SA on your Men’s Singles Championship win in the 2017 Australian Tennis Championships for Athletes with a Disability!
This was Sam’s first time participating in the event and took the title by defeating the current World Number 1 (Archie Graham from Queensland) and the previous World Number 1 (Fabrice Higgins form GB).
Sam is a Rio Paralympic Silver medallist in Table Tennis, and currently plays tennis with Henley South Tennis Club, as a member of the Henley Hawks Metro squad.
He remains in Melbourne this week and will be participating in the 2017 Australian National Para Championships for table tennis, 3 – 7 Feb. Good luck Sam!
