Tennis SA is thrilled to welcome The Honourable Katrine Hildyard, MP as the Official Ambassador for the Sets in the City social tennis night.
Minister Hildyard is the Minister for Disabilities and Minister Assisting the Minister for Sport and Recreation as well as Chair of the SA Women in Sport Taskforce and is also Member for Reynell in Adelaide’s beautiful southern suburbs.
Growing up in a single parent family, Minister Hildyard understands the values of being part of a caring community, of giving people a voice and of working with others to make a difference.
From her early childhood years, she has seen how sport has the power to include people and to give them a wonderful sense of belonging.
Minister Hildyard lives in Christies Beach with her husband, Charles, and teenage son and step son, and continues to be an extremely active member of her local community. The Minister is a great lover of sport and participates in various sporting pursuits.
“We are very excited to announce that Minister Hildyard will be the Official Ambassador for our Sets in the City social tennis night,” said Steve Baldas, Tennis SA CEO.
“We look forward to the Minister being involved in the event and taking part in some matches on the night!” Baldas added.
“Tennis SA has undertaken excellent work across our state on diversity, inclusion and how we can best support girls and women’s participation and leadership in tennis.”
