Day 2 saw matches completed in excellent conditions at the City of Playford Tennis International.

South Australia’s fifth seed Bradley Mousley was defeated by Andrew Harris (Vic) 7-6(3) 6-3,  Jason Kubler (Qld) took the win over Luke Saville (SA) 6-4 6-4 and Marinko Matosevic (Vic) moved through to the third round with a 6-3 6-1 win over Harry Bourchier (Tas).

South Australia’s Tahlia Van Der Eerden defeated [12] Renee McBryde (NSW) 7-6(5) 6-4 to make a third round appearance, along with [1] Jennifer Elie (USA) who defeated Qinwen Zheng (CHN) 6-2 2-6 6-4 and [2] Allie Kiick (USA) who took the win over Amber Marshall (SA) 6-1 6-4.

Day 3 will see the final rounds of qualifying take place. Maverick Banes (Qld) and Sebastian Korda (USA) will open Centre Court, with Tahlia Van Der Eerden to play Belinda Woolcock (Vic) in the second match on Court 2. The first round of Men’s Doubles will also take to the court, headlined by Australia’s number one seeds Marc Polmans/Andrew Whittington (Vic) taking on Andrew Harris/Dayne Kelly (Vic) and South Australian second seeds Bradley Mousley/Alex Bolt who will play Tobias Kamke/Oscar Otte (GER).
