Nearly 400 guests attended the 2018 World Tennis Challenge Legends’ Lunch on Tuesday 9 January at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Guests were treated to candid interviews with WTC players, Thanasi Kokkinakis, Bob and Mike Bryan, Mats Wilander, Jamie Murray, and Henri Leconte.
We are fortunate to have wonderful sponsors provide us with amazing prizes for the live auction and raffle. Thank you to Scenic, National Wine Centre, Tennis Australia, Coopers and Port Adelaide Football Club for your generosity towards the main auction prizes. Plus also Adelaide Festival, Globus Family of Brands, Swiss Wellness and Grill’d Norwood Burgers for the raffle prizes.
The proceeds of the event, auction and raffle has generated a record amount of $35,000 towards the Ken McGregor Foundation and will go a long way in spring-boarding our local talented juniors and tennis players with a disability into the international tennis scene.
We are extremely happy with how the event unfolded, especially with the assistance of our amazing MC’s Mark Soderstrom & Nicki Barnet, auctioneer Tim Thredgold (Toop&Toop), the WTC players and the Adelaide Convention Centre.
