It has been announced that the Port Pirie Come. See. Change. Tennis International will return in 2019, offering USD$15,000 in prizemoney and significant world ranking points.
Tennis SA and Tennis Australia, in conjunction with the Port Pirie Regional Council, and the Come. See. Change. partners, will host the Australian Pro Tour event from Monday 11 February to Sunday 17 February 2019.
The Port Pirie and Districts Tennis Association will play host to the Women’s ITF World Tennis Tour $15,000 event following a two year hiatus.
The event has in the past attracted the likes of world No.19 Ashleigh Barty (Qld) and the recently retired former world No.26 Casey Dellacqua (WA).
“We are delighted to welcome the Port Pirie Come. See. Change. Tennis International to the Australian Pro Tour for 2019,” said Tennis Australia’s Head of Tournaments and Officiating, Isabelle Gemmel.
Port Pirie Regional Council Mayor John Rohde says the tournament is a highlight on the city’s sporting calendar.
“Our Council is excited to once again host the Port Pirie Come. See. Change. Tennis International.”
“We are thrilled that the event has returned to the calendar and we look forward to welcoming the players to our town in February.”

The field for the Port Pirie Come. See. Change. Tennis International will be announced later this year.
