Pembroke lodged their first win of the season in round three of the Boys Junior State League with a 6 sets to 0 win over West Lakes. Terry Karahalios had to move up the order and play one and had a convincing 9-3 win over Jake Lukacs. West Lakes Deyan Sarac kept his team competitive going down in a tie break but Pembroke cruised through in the end winning comfortably overall.

Coromandel Valley received their second win lead by Patrick Douglas winning 9-3 in the top singles over Hahndorf’s Jasper Benson. Edward Winter continued his good form winning his third straight singles defeating William Taylor 9-4. Coromandel Valley didn’t look back from there winning all 6 sets and putting forward a very convincing win pushing them up to third on the ladder.

Seacliff kept their good run going and are the only undefeated boy’s team after three rounds. Seacliff’s Lachlan Brain and Sebastian Reichelt lead the way in the singles with 9-1 wins. Heading into the doubles Seacliff were up 3 sets to 1 and didn’t stop there, winning both the doubles well and giving their team a 5 sets to 1 win over Glenlea.

Trinity Titans showed they are one of the teams to look out for this season with a 5 sets to 1 win over Tea Tree Gully. Trinity Titan’s Callum Gale set the scene with a 9-2 win over Tea Tree Gully’s Connor Gibson. Tea Tree Gully’s Connor Wallin kept it competitive winning the second singles in a tie break over Cooper Asquith, but from there it was all Trinity Titans with a 5 sets to 1.

In the Girls Statewide Super Junior State League, Seaside had a convincing win over Hahndorf and have given their team the ideal start to the season winning all three of their matches. Tully Richter once again led the way for Seaside with a 9-6 win over Hahndorf’s Hayley Riessen. It was all over after the singles with Seaside claiming all four singles sets and winning 5 sets to 1 overall after the doubles.

Pembroke travelled down to Seacliff in an away game, Pembroke were too strong in the singles winning all 4 of their singles matches but Seacliff hit back claiming both doubles giving Pembroke the overall win 4 sets to 2 and moving them third on the ladder.

In the match of round, which saw Collingrove play Peake Gardens. Collingrove got off to the ideal start winning 3 out of 4 singles led by Laila McColl in the second singles winning a tight 9-8 second singles over Ashlee Shields. Peake Gardens then bounced back winning both doubles 6-3, 6-0 respectively and giving their team a win by one game.
